On Thursday, we discussed how the inventor, Harriet Russell Strong, created new types of dams and water storage systems. We then discussed how beavers use dams to make their homes. Next, we created our very own dam and made a reservoir using popsicle sticks, clay, and rocks. We had to make adjustments as we went along so the water would not come through the walls.
